Personal Stylist Session

Thanks to nzgirl I had the opportunity to try a personal stylist session and I jumped at the chance. I’ve just started an internship and will be looking to join the work force soon. I want to look absolutely fabulous at work, but still effortless and on trend.

Keep it classy.

My stylist, Rose, was professional and friendly right from day one. She emailed me about a week before our session to find out about me, my personal style, my measurements etc because she was going to scout out some ideas before our session. This was really good because when we met up she already had some stuff to begin with.

It was easy enough to spot Rose; she was wearing a cute pink blazer over a lovely patterned dress which had accents in the same pink. No doubt she’s a stylist. She took me to Glassons first and in the two hours we were together we looked in Glassons, Collette, Valleygirl, Temt, Hannahs, Wildpair and Number 1 Shoes to find some outfits I could wear to work.

I found some really cool pieces that I bought and some that I will be buying. Some were definitely out of my comfort zone but I was glad she picked them out for me, like this citrus blazer

I love lemons :) why not?
Some things were more for fun, but maybe if I'm feeling a little rowdy some time...

But I got this cool outfit, and will be adding the yellow blazer to it soon. I think it's a great outfit for work, the PR company I'm at is pretty laid back but they all look a million bucks no matter what they're wearing it seems!

Pants and top from Glassons and necklace from Collette which we need on the Shore!

I think the stylist session was great, personally wouldn't be buying one again for myself but if you're hopeless with buying stuff then definitely go for it. Check out Rose's companies website Stylists Inc  for more deets.
